A short-video feed where every clip is a paid promotion — and more than half of what it earns goes to the person doing the watching.
Coming to iOS and Android. Not yet available for download.
Most apps hide what your attention is worth. Kestrel prints the receipt on every view — what the advertiser paid, what the exchange took, and what is yours.
CPM means cost per thousand views — the unit advertisers actually buy in. One view is worth a fraction of a cent, and we would rather show you that than dress it up.
Every campaign purchases a specific event. You get paid for that exact event — nothing vaguer, nothing longer.
Two seconds, six seconds, or the whole clip — whichever that campaign bought. Scroll past early and nobody is charged.
The view is banked the moment it qualifies, and the receipt slides up showing exactly what it paid.
No card to start. Your balance accrues until you want it. Identity checks happen at cash out, not sign up.
Nothing here guesses your income and pays you less for it. Every tier is unlocked by something you chose to do, and every one is reversible.
Three hundred clips a day is about ninety minutes of scrolling. Here is what that is worth, honestly, at a 55% share.
A view is worth a fraction of a cent. Heavy use is worth tens of dollars a month, not thousands. Anyone promising you more than that is lying, and we would rather lose the signup than make the claim.
We are signing five launch partners. You set a price per completed view and a budget, and you are charged only for the views watched to the end.
How billing works. You prepay a budget and we charge your agreed price for each completed view — one viewer who watched your video to the end, at most once per viewer per video. Anything short of the end costs nothing. We never charge past your budget, you can stop a campaign at any time, and unspent budget is refunded within 10 business days of it ending. Invoices are issued by John Gillespie, sole proprietor, California, trading as Kestrel.
Every clip is licensed in writing. We never scrape or repost creator video, sponsored content is labelled in-feed, and viewers are paid a share of what you pay — which is disclosed to advertisers and to them. No inflated view-through claims.
